IN a powerful display of support for President Emmerson Mnangagwa, Youth Minister Tino Machakaire has adopted the resounding “Pasi nezvigananda” slogan, which is rapidly gaining popularity within Zanu PF.
Mnangagwa captured widespread attention when he unexpectedly chanted this slogan at a recent ruling party meeting, triggering an enthusiastic wave of endorsement from party officials and supporters.
Following Mnangagwa’s vocal endorsement, Machakaire was the first senior official to rally behind the President, sharing the slogan on his social media platforms.
Known for his steadfast allegiance to Mnangagwa’s faction, Machakaire recently urged citizens to communicate openly with the President if they genuinely care for him.
Speaking to party members in the Wedza South Constituency during the graduation ceremony of over 400 individuals in various skill sets, Machakaire emphasized that the nation’s progress hinges on honest communication.
“We must not shy away from speaking the truth that will help our party flourish. Protecting our party means being forthright. If we truly love our President, we must relay the real situation on the ground. As your leader, my duty is to convey the message for which I was elected. If I discuss an issue in Harare, remember that while the people there might express opinions, they are unaware of the message you have entrusted me with,” Machakaire stated.
“I am unafraid to speak the truth, as I am simply a messenger tasked with relaying your concerns. It’s my responsibility to communicate your issues, after which I expect a response. If there are matters to address in Wedza, just send me to the President, and I will convey your message as it is. If roads are in disrepair, you can count on me to raise the issue and ensure it receives prompt attention,” Machakaire declared.
Furthermore, Machakaire stressed the importance of unity within the party and condemned any form of division or violence. “Divisions and violence will not be tolerated in Zanu PF. We must remain united, and those who seek to create discord have no place in this party.”
“We have one leader, and we are all under President Mnangagwa. It is imperative that we unite behind him and focus on the development of our country and the growth of our party. Let’s shun violence. Zanu PF is a party of peace, and anyone found on the wrong side of the law will face consequences. Violence is a definite no in Zanu PF; those with a penchant for it should seek affiliation with other parties,” Machakaire asserted firmly.
