SKELETONS continue to tumble for opposition leader Advocate Fadzai Mahere after Youth Minister Tino Machakaire exposed troubling details of her dark past following her defense of NSSA managers accused of misappropriating pensioners’ funds, intensifying scrutiny over her credibility and adding fuel to a growing political controversy.
Mahere’s legal expertise was called into question by Justice Matonsi, who referred to her as a “humpty dumpty lawyer.”
In a series of social media posts, Machakaire asserted that Mahere should refrain from speaking, suggesting she lacks the intellect to engage in meaningful dialogue and frequently supports those accused of wrongdoing.
“A whole Justice Matonsi judgment extensively established your gravitas as a ‘Humpty Dumpty’ mouthpiece of NSSA millions looters. The looming question is whether you and your NSSA millions looters have had the moral courage to repay the poor pensioners’ savings you attempted to cover with your humpty dumpty theatrics. Show me any judgment that casts aspersions on my moral turpitude before you start with me,” Machakaire stated.
He also emphasized that he has never been involved in the misappropriation of funds or served as a shield for criminals protecting their ill-gotten gains.
“Good evening advovo Humpty Dumpty @advocatemahere. FYI, unlike your NSSA looters judgment, I have never been party to a government tender or tampered with poor pensioners’ funds. You can fictitiously create as many false narratives as possible, but I will only meaningfully engage with you if you provide a judgment that asserts your preposterous allegations. I want you to know that as a public servant I have nothing to hide, and if you have anything of substance beyond your usual theatrics, I stand ready to account for anything that relates to my integrity.
“I am also ready to assist you in apologizing to all NSSA beneficiaries and to share with you a few tips on how you can be an honest taxpaying business entrepreneur, for that’s what I know best. My business life before and after politics is in the public domain. I am an open book who respects honest hard work.”
Machakaire further stated that he has never misappropriated government resources.
“You’re a parochially nonsensical rabblerouser, chigananda, if you run away from a Parliament whose Public Accounts Committee has factually established and elaborately documented how government vehicles paid by Treasury were not delivered by the supplier. Falsely attempting to besmirch a Minister contrary to the findings of the Parliament Public Accounts Committee exposes you for the serial hating noisy dimwit you have always been.”
